Coming Home!

We were thrilled and scared to know that we were going home! We had to wait until Jackson officially had his first "pee" since the circumcision. The little stinker made us wait almost 26 hours! Talk about stubborn!

It was a scary and surreal moment to think that they just send you home with a baby. I bet the nurses were thinking, "ha, ha...good luck...suckers!" And, just like that we were off into the world with the full responsibility of this little guy. Daddy did the driving; he did a great job and stayed calm. I rode in the back with Jackson. And, as our luck would have it, the day we came home turned out to be one of the coldest days in a long time-50 degrees! So, we all bundled up for our journey. We were greeted by Nemo and Grama and a clean house. It was so kind. And, thus begun the rest of our lives as Mommy and Daddy.

David, Jackson, and I are so thrilled to have visitors! And we had lots of them! Nemo, Grama, Grammy, Grampa, Aunt Amy, Aunt Heather, Aunt Shannon, Uncle Jason, Aunt Miranda, Uncle Bruce, Erin, Gregg, Jon, Jerry, Adam, Courtney, Joe and Wallace are some just to name a few! We also received lots of beautiful flowers and balloons. He is already spoiled!

Jackson is Here!

He is finally here! We are super excited that little Jackson can now be in our arms! We have prayed and dreamt of this day for 39 weeks. No one told us that being parents would be so much fun! I had a great delivery (started around 8:30am and he was born at 1:27pm). We had lots and lots of visitors, and felt so blessed to have so many people care about us and our little cutie!

Jackson officially entered our lives at 1:27pm on Thursday March 26th. He weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces and was 18 1/4 inches long. He was born with a head full of blonde hair and immediately opened his eyes for lots of photos with grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
